    Housing Information 
    The military provides two options for the use of your Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH). The first option is living on base. Your second option is using your BAH to rent or buy a home off base. We provide you with military friendly information to help you maximize your BAH.

    • The Housing Service Center is handled by the Naval Base San Diego (619) 556-8443. They provide all personnel with the latest information on local housing as well as referral services and relocation assistance. They offer counseling and guidance before entering into a lease agreement and help resolve tenant-landlord disputes.

    • Unaccompanied Housing for Marine Bachelors is also handled by Naval Base San Diego (619) 556-1077

    • MCAS Miramar on-base housing is privatized and operated by Lincoln Military Housing (858) 397-1012, which offers single family residences and townhomes based upon rank and family size.

    About the Installation
    Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is home to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing which is part of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. Marine Corps Air Station Miramar was the former home to the TOPGUN pilot training program and the movie of the same name. The school was relocated in 1996 to the National Air Station Fallon in western Nevada and is now part of the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center. The primary mission of the station is to provide services and support for its host wing and other tenant commands. Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is located in Miramar, San Diego, California, just north of downtown San Diego. For more information click here
